About Us
Monique Nicole Caston, MSW, MSM is a Chicago native that currently resides in the Chicago area. Ms. Caston has worked over 14 years in various positions relating to Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, and Government Contracting. Ms. Caston firmly believes that an individual should view themselves as their own private company, and always strive to ensure that they are constantly aware of their "brand." While working within these sectors, Ms. Caston developed an expertise in providing resume critiques, interviewing skills, and tips on conducting effective job searches among family, friends and acquaintances through networking. As a result, Ms. Caston co-founded CCDS to provide resume services and career advice to those that are on a budget looking to take that next step in their careers. Through her professional work within the nonprofit sector, Ms. Caston enjoys having the opportunity to work to assist thousands of low-income families and youth on their path toward achieving economic self-sufficiency.
Michell Morton a Baltimore native that currently still resides in the area. She is an experienced project management professional who possesses over 15 years of project and program management experience. Ms. Morton has overseen community development projects in undeserved communities, and has six years working on multi-million dollar government contracts and grant-funded initiatives. Ms. Morton has a wealth of experience in conducting trainings and workshops in workforce development, strategic planning, partnership development, and program development. Clients that have worked with Ms. Morton have seen a 50% increase in program participation and resources available to enhance their programmatic efforts. Ms. Morton has traveled throughout the United States as a consultant and subcontractor to the Department of Housing and Urban Development Neighborhood Networks Initiative to provide nonprofits with technical assistance with their workforce development programmatic needs. Through her efforts, several community organizations developed programming for their respective low-income populations that focused on career preparation (GED assistance, resume writing workshops, etc.).
In their professional lives, Ms. Caston and Ms. Morton work to provide quality consulting services to nonprofit organizations and community-based stakeholders to enhance their organizational capacities. Both Ms. Caston and Ms. Morton possess a combination of 18 years of experience in developing and conducting professional trainings, workshops, and organizational assessments throughout the United States and U.S. Territories in the following areas:
